DRIVER INFORMATION

Ryan started racing go-carts in the Box Stock class at Sugar River Raceway at the age of 16.  He was awarded the Rookie of the Year in 1994.  Ryan raced that same class for 2 years until moving up to the Briggs Blue Print Class for 1 year.

In 1997, Ryan started racing in the Midwest Truck Division at Madison International Speedway in Oregon, WI. He won the Miller Classics at MIS that year and finished 3rd in points.  He was awarded Rookie of the Year in the truck division.

In 1998, Ryan started racing in the Super Late Model Division at Madison International Speedway. He finished just out of the top 10 in points.  He qualified and raced in 3 ARTGO Series races at Madison, WI; Gateway Madison, IL; and LaCrosse, WI.

In 1999, Ryan raced at Madison International Speedway finishing 3rd in points with 2 feature wins.  Ryan also raced the Midwest Allstar Racing Series (M.A.R.S.) and finished 5th in points.

During the 2000 racing season, Ryan has been fast qualifier 8 times at MIS, with 11 top 5 finishes and 7 top 10 finishes out of 20 races, with 1 DNF. In the M.A.R.S. series, he has had 2 fast qualifier, 6 top 5 finishes and 6 top 10 finishes with 2 DNF (because of engine or crash) out of 15 races.  Ryan finished 2nd in points in both series.

The 2001 season was plagued with mechanical problems and Ryan didn't race the entire schedule but still managed 1 top 5 and 3 top 10's in the Re/Max Series.

Ryan raced a limited schedule in 2002 at Madison International Speedway. He was fast qualifier 4 times and had 4 top 5's and 2 top 10's.  In the Re/Max Series he had 1 Bud Pole, 1 top 5 and 2 top 10's.

2003 was a busy year for Ryan.  He raced at MIS when his schedule permitted. He had 1 win, 2 top qualifiers, 4 top 5's and 4 top 10's.  In the ITEMS Series, out of 11 races, he had 2 Bud Poles, 2 top 5's and 7 top 10's, finishing 9th in the standings.

Ryan also ran in the Craftsman Truck Series at St. Louis in 2003 posting a 23rd place finish.

One of the highlights of 2003 was the Toyota All Star Invitational race at Irwindale, CA.  Ryan helped his Midwest Series Drivers to win the extra $20,000 in the first part of the race and then continued on to finish 4th.

In 2004, Ryan raced  the Auto Zone Elite Series with 6 top 10's, 2 top 5's and 2 Bud Poles.  He raced 4 times at Madison International Speedway and had 1 pole and 2 top 5's.  Ryan raced once at WIR and had a 2nd place finish.  Once again Ryan was invited to the Toyota All Star Invitational at Irwindale, CA. because of his 6th place finish in the Elite Series.
